MARANTZ PROFESSIONAL HOLDS PMD660 PROMOTION AT NAB— Unique trade show promotion helps launch the
Marantz Professional PMD660 “hand-held” Compact Digital Recorder—— Featuring stereo built-in condenser microphones with Automatic Level Control,
one-touch digital recording to Compact Flash cards, onboard editing with Copy Segment,

the PMD660 can record for four hours running on four standard AA batteries —NAB CONVENTION, LAS VEGAS, NV, April 18, 2005 — D&M Professional, manufacturer of the renowned Marantz Professional PMD series of professional recording products, announces a unique promotion to help launch the PMD660 Compact Digital Recorder at this year’s NAB Convention.
Two Marantz Professional PMD660 units will be given away each day on April 18, 19, and 20 at 1:00pm and 6:00pm daily. Attendees simply visit the D&M Professional exhibit at Booth N313, get a short demonstration on the PMD660 and leave their business card. Two lucky winners will then be chosen each day, with drawings held at 1:00pm and 6:00pm. The promotion is designed to help draw attention to the new PMD660 “hand-held” field recorder, the latest addition to the extensive line of Marantz professional recording products.
The PMD660 Compact Digital Recorder is a rugged, “hand-held” unit with easy one-touch digital recording using cost-effective Compact Flash media cards. Featuring solid-state design, the PMD660 has no moving parts, and is therefore more reliable than cassette, DAT, or other tape/disc formats. The PMD660 has stereo built-in condenser microphones with Automatic Level Control and is ideal for field recording applications.
