D&M PROFESSIONAL PROMOTES
CHRISTINA TSONIS TO MARKETING MANAGERWINTER NAMM SHOW, ANAHEIM, CA, January 19, 2006 — D&M Professional, parent company of the leading brands Marantz Professional, Denon Professional and Denon DJ, has appointed Christina Tsonis as Marketing Manager. The announcement was made by Peter Papageorge, D&M Professional Director of Sales and Marketing, and comes in support of the company’s ongoing commitment to the global expansion of its brands and the continuous growth of D&M Professional as a preeminent industry resource.
Christina Tsonis has worked with D&M Professional for three years as Marketing Coordinator. She assisted the company through the transition of Denon Professional and Marantz Professional into D&M Professional, and also as Denon DJ joined the organization. In her new position, Tsonis will advance D&M Professional’s plans for increasing international recognition, identifying and responding to emerging market trends to further strengthen the company’s position as a global leader.
Formerly, Tsonis served as Marketing Associate at the Chicago Office of The Bivings Group, a public relations firm specializing in web communications and issues management for corporations, trade associations, governmental agencies and not-for-profit institutions. She also acted as Marketing Manager with business news site China Online. Tsonis earned a degree in Marketing and Business Administration from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, and additionally has a strong background in retail sales.
