DENON PROFESSIONAL OFFERS CONTRACTORS NEW
DN-V755 AND DN-V750 NETWORK AUDIO VISUAL PLAYERS

— Denon Professional provides contractors a total solution for digital signage —

NSCA EXPO, ORLANDO, FL, March 10, 2005 — D&M Professional, the parent company of Denon Professional, introduces the DN-V755 and DN-V750 Network Audio Visual Players. Designed to meet the increasing demand for digital signage multimedia solutions by theme parks, museums, kiosks, shopping malls and other commercial applications where high-quality, high-reliability and customized video playback is desired, both units offer extensive playback capabilities through a built in 40 GB hard drive (DN-V755) or Compact Flash card (DN-V750). With its built-in FTP capability, users can upload video content directly to the hard drive or the Compact Flash cards. In addition, both units feature off-site scheduling software via the included Windows® application, and RS-232 port for integrated onsite system control. The new DN-V755 and DN-V750 were developed based on direct feedback from leading contractors and acoustical consultants in the field and reflect Denon Professional’s ongoing commitment to providing the sound contracting/fixed installation industry with leading-edge products.

The DN-V755 Network Audio Visual Player is a compact 8.6" W (220 mm) x 1.7" H (44 mm) x 10.6" D (270 mm) unit that plays MPEG-2 video files at bit-rates which surpass DVD quality. Still pictures can be easily uploaded for signage or presentation. For audio, the DN-V755 offers MPEG-1 (Audio Layer II, III) audio playback at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, and can even play uncompressed 16-bit PCM playback from WAV files. The DN-V755 features a 40 GB internal hard drive, (expandable to 137 GB) which can store up to eight hours of DVD quality video. Lower bit-rates can be used to further extend video playtime. Alternatively, thousands of photographs or graphics (.MPI) and hours of CD-quality audio, or any combination thereof can be stored, deleted or updated. Files for multiple presentations can be stored, and ‘script files’ will direct the DN-V755 what to play and when to play it from onsite within the same building or remotely across the country.

Media Transfer has never been easier with the DN-V755. The user is able to upload MPEG video, Still Pictures, WAV and other media directly from a computer via the DN-V755’s built-in LAN port. Plus, the included, easy-to-use Windows® application software streamlines the transferring of files and scheduling playback.

The DN-V755 offers contractors a wide range of control options. In addition to easy-to-use front panel controls, customized control surfaces can be created using the parallel connection. A 15-pin D-Sub connector offers switch-closure control of major functions for Kiosk applications, while a 9-pin RS-232C serial port allows standardized serial control.

The DN-V750 Network Audio Visual Player offers all the same features of the DN-V755 but instead of an internal hard drive, the DN-V750 employs a PCM-CIA card slot. Any standard PCM-CIA hard drive (or other storage device) can be used for removable and thereby virtually unlimited storage.

Additional features include:
• 40 GB internal hard drive (DN-V755)
• Up to 8 hours of DVD quality video (DN-V755)
• Internally expandable to 137 GB (DN-V755)
• Plays 720 x 480 MPEG-2 at 10 Mbps or below

• S-Video and Composite (RCA) Video outputs
• Unbalanced (RCA) stereo audio outputs
• DN-V750 version offers PCM-CIA card slot for removable storage, instead of hard drive
