AUDIO-TECHNICA APPOINTS TODD CAMPBELL
AUDIO SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST— Company continues support of its Audio Solutions Department, dedicated to identifying and addressing the needs of the audio community —
119th AES CONVENTION, NEW YORK, NY, October 7, 2005 — Audio-Technica, the leader in transducer technology, has named Todd Campbell as Audio Solutions Specialist in support of its Audio Solutions Department. Rick Joyner, Audio Solutions Manager at Audio-Technica, announced the appointment.With over 20 years’ experience working with audio and electronic equipment, Todd Campbell brings direct market insight to his new position as a Specialist in A-T’s Audio Solutions Department. Campbell has been with Audio-Technica since 1995, previously serving as Wireless Technician and Cinema Sound Technician. Campbell is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, Gospel Music Association and Synergetic Audio Concepts (Syn-Aud-Con). His experience as owner of a live-sound company adds to his first-hand knowledge and high-tech expertise in the field. He is now focused on fulfilling the informational needs of Audio-Technica’s internal and external publics, accurately fielding questions about Audio-Technica’s full range of products.
The Audio Solutions Department acts as the first point of contact for A-T’s staff, reps, dealers and end users seeking clear technical or product advice and application assistance. Since the department’s inception, customers have expressed appreciation for this easy and efficient new method of connecting with a support team, with more than 95 percent of incoming queries answered directly by Audio Solutions Specialists. In addition to phone consultations, the department offers online technical support, gathers feedback from the field to identify emerging trends and business opportunities, and assists in product design, development and sales.
