AUDIO-TECHNICA ANNOUNCES STEVE SAVANYU
AS MARKET MANAGER, INSTALLED SOUND, BROADCAST & THEATER
STOW, OH, September 15, 2004 — Audio-Technica U.S., the premier supplier of wired and wireless microphone solutions, has promoted Steve Savanyu to Market Manager, Installed Sound, Broadcast & Theater. As market needs expand and diversify with the profusion of major technological advancements, Audio-Technica continues to lead the industry in its commitment to acting as a direct interface with audio professionals to achieve new standards in quality, reliability and functionality. Savanyu’s appointment as A-T’s dedicated representative to the key installed sound, broadcast and theater sectors was announced by Jeff Simcox, Audio-Technica Executive Director of Marketing, as the next step in implementing the company’s plans for ongoing growth together with even greater market penetration.In his new position, Savanyu will employ his extensive knowledge of the Audio-Technica product line, while exploring current market dynamics and trends to develop strategies for promoting both brand recognition and loyalty. He will also work closely with A-T’s marketing, sales, engineering and product support teams to meet demands from contractors, consultants and end users that address the increasingly intricate requirements of complex installations and challenging applications. Savanyu will extend and strengthen A-T’s relationships with these critical business partners to ensure the enthusiastic reception of new product launches and broaden the success of established products.
Savanyu joined Audio-Technica in 2000, and most recently held the title of Marketing Manager, Training and Seminars with A-T. He formerly owned and operated Stonewood Studios, an audio/video production company in Geneva, IL. Building on the experience he gathered in these capacities, Savanyu brings a thorough understanding of the importance of hands-on education initiatives and consistent communications efforts to his role as Market Manager, Installed Sound, Broadcast & Theater.
