AUDIO-TECHNICA ANNOUNCES SCOTT STOVER AS
NEW TERRITORY MANAGER
NAMM SUMMER SESSION, NASHVILLE, TN, July 23, 2004 — Leading microphone manufacturer Audio-Technica U.S., Inc. has named Scott Stover as its newest Territory Manager. Stover will take over the position previously held by Clayton Doty, who has accepted a place within Audio-Technica’s expanding Marketing Department. The announcement of Stover’s appointment was made by Marc Lee Shannon, A-T’s Vice President, Sales, and is indicative of Audio-Technica’s longstanding commitment to providing each of its sales territories with dedicated strategies for continuing success and growth.Heading up the Rocky Mountain territories of Arizona, Montana, and New Mexico, along with Southern California and Canada, Stover will be responsible for creating and implementing plans to maximize brand awareness and market interest. This will be accomplished through direct, regular interaction with Audio-Technica dealers and floor salesmen, including the creation of training programs and product promotions tailored to achieving the company’s key objectives.
Stover established himself as an entrepreneur in the audio industry, acting as owner of Stover Productions, a specialized systems contractor, for well over a decade. His additional experience ranges from a formal education in broadcast engineering, to work as an independent sales rep, as well as a Regional Operations Manager at Markey’s Audio Visual.
Marc Lee Shannon remarked, “With a diverse and extensive history in the field of audio technology and sales, Scott is well-equipped to manage A-T’s territorial sales efforts and position us for ongoing expansion in these areas.
