MC2 AUDIO LTD. EXPANDS PRODUCTION FACILITY

— Company announces additional manufacturing capabilities to meet growing demand for its power amplifiers in the fixed installation and touring sound markets —


119th AES CONVENTION, NEW YORK, NY, October 7, 2005 — Following a year of dramatic growth due in part to the success of its E Series power amplifiers, leading UK-based amplifier manufacturer MC2 Audio Ltd. has increased the size of its production facility in Honiton, Devon. The factory expansion further underscores MC2 Audio’s ongoing commitment to providing high quality, high performance solutions to the fixed installation and touring sound markets.

“MC2 has grown steadily since its inception 10 years ago, but the last year has seen the company grow at an exceptional rate. This is in no small part due to the new E Series, and in particular the E45 lightweight touring amplifier,” explains Managing Director Ian McCarthy.

The company has now taken possession of additional space adjacent to its existing factory and is currently in the process of refurbishing and streamlining the production line to increase capability. Current production levels will continue as normal during this construction period and it is anticipated that by the New Year MC2 will have increased its production capability by 50%, and by 100% within the next 12 months.

Ian McCarthy continues, “We will also be recruiting additional staff both in production and administration and are looking forward to another successful year.”
