— Two new models expand the Frontline
range of PA speakers —
115th AES CONVENTION, NEW YORK, NY, October 10, 2003
— Celestion, the leading designer and manufacturer
of professional loudspeakers and guitar speakers is displaying
its new Frontline2 speakers. Designed for professional sound
reinforcement applications requiring “upfront performance,”
Frontline2 represents the next generation of the popular
Frontline PA speakers from Celestion.
Featuring a precision die-cast aluminum chassis
for maximum strength and rigidity, the new Frontline2 15"
and 18" speakers each have a power rating of 700 Watts,
employ a 4" voice coil, utilize a ceramic magnet structure,
weigh 28.48lbs (15")/34.17lbs (18"), and are designed
for mid-bass and extreme bass applications. In addition,
both speakers have a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms.
Other features include:
• Frequency response — 35-2000 Hz (15"),
30-500 Hz (18")
• Single piece/pole rear plate assembly featuring
radically orientated gain structure for optimized flux transmission
to maximize motor efficiency and coil venting
• High power double suspension featuring proprietary
suspension reinforcement rings to provide maximum durability
and minimum suspension fatigue
• Easy-to-use top quality push terminals ensure trouble-free
connection and maximum power transfer
