ELEKTRALITE CONTROLLERS LIGHT THE WAY TO
QUALITY FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT— Design/install company Beyond Lighting chooses the CP Series controllers to help
family entertainment centers roll a perfect game every time —Elektralite’s CP Series of lighting system controllers has emerged as a benchmark in efficient, reliable performance. In two recent installations, the CP Series demonstrated how a high-quality lighting system is able to significantly enhance the experience at family entertainment centers. At Lightning Strikes Entertainment Center, which opened in April in Trussville, AL, an Elektralite CP10xt controller is used for DMX lighting control in concourse and seating areas, while two CP10xt’s and one CP20 controller are used to manipulate intelligent lighting systems over the facility’s bowling lanes. At Oak Mountain Lanes, which opened last March in Pelham, AL, an Elektralite CP16/24 controller is used for lights throughout the facility’s extensive concourse and seating areas, with a CP10xt controller handling intelligent lighting above bowling lanes, and another CP10xt controlling black-light effects at the center.
“Both of these facilities are awesome in terms of design,” observes Ron Connell, Partner in Beyond Lighting, the Stow, Ohio-based company that did the lighting and sound design and installation at Lightning Strikes, as well as the lighting design and installation at Oak Mountain Lanes. “When clients put as much into their facilities as these have, it follows that you’ll want to use the absolute best, most programmable, most reliable lighting controllers you can, because so much of the experience of being in one of these facilities comes from the lighting effects. Elektralite’s CP Series controllers give designers more options to be creative, and give the installation process two critical advantages: ease of use and high reliability.”
Connell also cited the Elektralite CP Series controllers as one of the most economical lighting control solutions on the market. “As elaborate as these new family entertainment centers are becoming, the clients still want their investments to be as cost-effective as possible,” Connell states. “The CP Series provides exactly that.
