FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ELEKTRALITE LAUNCHES my250 MOVING YOKE FIXTURE

FARMINGDALE, NY, February 4, 2005 — Elektralite expands its comprehensive range of lighting fixtures, which are renowned for their reliability and ease of operation, with the new my250. Building on the recent success of Elektralite’s my150 moving yoke fixture, the my250 also delivers powerful, industry-leading lighting effects in a compact package. Featuring impressive construction and top-notch components, including the Philips MSD250/2 discharge lamp, the my250 is able to pan 630 degrees and tilt 265 degrees with speed and grace.

The fixture’s color wheel has a stunning array of 8 colors and bi-colors with rainbow effect, 6 rotating indexable gobos and an additional 7 fixed gobos. All included gobos are standard size and readily interchangeable. Precise electronic focus is complemented by the my250’s bi-directional rotating prism, which incorporates prism effects, as well as dimmer and strobe. The unprecedented choice and positioning capability of the focus lenses are further advantages of the my250. Gobos remain in focus across the entire visual field, not just the center, and morphing between gobos is easily achieved, creating mesmerizing results. The fixture’s digital address and display allows a variety of functions to be conveniently accessed, for intuitive operation of lamp control (on/off), pan and tilt reverse, along with lamp and fixture hours. For greater flexibility, the my250 can be set to run independently, without the presence of a lighting board. Cues may be downloaded into the my250’s onboard reprogrammable processor for flawless replay. This offers the perfect solution for industrial settings, weddings and other events that benefit from the my250’s extensive feature set, but do not necessarily require accompanying controllers, cabling or an operator. The my250 can also be placed in a master/slave configuration or be controlled via a sound input.

A complete package of lighting essentials, the Elektralite my250 comes with mounting hardware including safety cable and a 50-foot DMX cable. The fixture’s small ‘footprint’ is ideal in situations where an unobtrusive moving fixture is specified, while the Philips MSD250/2 lamp ensures superior light output from the my250. The advanced yet straightforward functionality yields dazzling effects with dependable impact.
