ELEKTRALITE UNVEILS my575 MOVING YOKE FIXTURE

FARMINGDALE, NY, May 12, 2005 — Elektralite adds to its acclaimed range of lighting fixtures with the my575 hard edge spot fixture. Powered by the high-quality Philips MSR 575/2 lamp, the my575 fixture can pan 630 degrees and tilt 265 degrees, and is designed to meet the requirements of a host of demanding applications while offering intuitive, streamlined operation. Great emphasis was placed on the choice of optics used, as Elektralite recognizes the importance of ensuring crisp, clean gobos at any distance.

The new Elektralite my575 features twin rotating gobo wheels that, when used in conjunction with the electronic focus, produce a wealth of dynamic effects. Both geometric and mosaic patterns can be morphed between each wheel. Additionally, two color wheels each incorporate seven brilliant colors and bi-colors with rainbow effect. Iris, dimmer and strobe, as well as a rotating prism, round out this fixture’s full complement of effects. The digital address and display allows ready access to a variety of functions, including lamp control (on/off), pan and tilt reverse, along with lamp and fixture hours.

Many different types of preprogrammed macros are “burnt” into the processor, enabling instant shows to be created. The my575 can also be set to run independent from a lighting board. Cues may be downloaded into the my575’s onboard reprogrammable processor for replay, which presents an ideal solution for industrial settings, weddings and other events that require the functional advantages of the my575 without accompanying controllers, cabling or an operator. Furthermore, the my575 is able to be placed in a master/slave configuration or be controlled via a sound input. The my575 comes complete with mounting hardware including safety cable and a 50-foot DMX cable.
