ELEKTRALITE DEBUTS my575w MOVING YOKE FIXTURE
FARMINGDALE, NY, May 12, 2005 — Elektralite enhances its comprehensive selection of lighting fixtures with the new my575 wash fixture. With the powerful Philips MSR 575/2 lamp and an extensive list of capabilities, the my575 fixture can pan 630 degrees and tilt 265 degrees, and features an electronic zoom that ranges from 7º to 28º.The zoom feature is complemented by a beam shaper effects wheel, which further controls the shape of the beam. The my575w also boasts full-color mixing with cyan, magenta and yellow progressive color wheels. In particular, the magenta and yellow are capable of producing extremely deep colors — including, for instance, a very close rendition of Congo blue. A color effects wheel incorporates five colors dichriocs and two color temperature filters. There is also a frost effect, dimmer and strobe.
The digital address and display allows for a variety of functions to be conveniently accessed, such as lamp control (on/off), pan and tilt reverse, along with lamp and fixture hours. Color macros have been preprogrammed, enabling quick access to color effects. The my575w can also be set to run without the presence of a lighting board. Cues may be downloaded into the fixture’s onboard reprogrammable processor for replay. This offers the perfect solution for industrial settings, weddings and other events that benefit from the my575w’s versatile feature set, but do not necessarily require accompanying controllers, cabling or an operator. Additionally, the my575w can be placed in a master/slave configuration or be controlled via a sound input. The new Elektralite my575w comes complete with mounting hardware including safety cable and a 50-foot DMX cable.
