About MC2 Audio Ltd.
MC2 Audio Ltd. manufactures technologically innovative amplifiers of the highest quality for the pro audio market and is an OEM supplier to two of the top studio monitor manufacturers. Co-directors Terry Clarke and Ian McCarthy have combined their extensive experience in the audio industry with a commitment to promoting the highest standards of audio quality and manufacture. Terry gained a worldwide reputation for design as co-founder and Technical Director of KlarkTeknik. Ian's early experience was in the hi-fi side of the industry before moving into the manufacture of public address equipment in 1979.

The first two models in the MC range, the MC45O and MC65O, were launched at AES in Amsterdam in the spring of 1994 and were in full production by September of that year. Both amplifiers were received enthusiastically, being among the first in the market to be digitally controlled. The MC450 and MC650 continue to be sought for studio and other fixed installations within the pro audio market, both in their own right and as OEM product.

In September 1996, the MC125O made its first appearance at PLASA, London and was greeted with much enthusiasm by existing and new customers. Since then the MC125O has enjoyed particular interest from the discotheque and nightclub market, where it has proved itself capable of maintaining its high performance levels in the most demanding conditions. The MC125O has joined the MC45O and MC65O on our list of OEM product.

The MC75O was introduced in October 1997, resulting in a range of amplifiers offering power from 450W/channel RMS into 4ohms to 1250W/channel RMS into 4ohms. All amplifiers in the MC range are monitored by microprocessor to ensure that performance is maintained over a wide range of temperatures and loads. Unique circuitry and ‘no-compromise’ design result in ultra high fidelity and superb sonic performance. All models can be operated remotely from a PC and the option to add cross-over cards — which are 24dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley filters that can be configured as Low pass, High pass, or Band pass — is available for all models in the range.

The first two models in the T Series, the T500 and T1000 at 250W and 500W per channel respectively, were launched at PLASA 2000 and the T1500 at 750W/channel followed at PLASA 2001. With its launch at Musikmesse 2002, the T2000 at 1000W/channel became the latest addition to this range of ultra high quality amplifiers that are designed for use in a wide variety of applications in the fixed installation market. Also presented at Musikmesse 2002 for the first time was the T Line. This 100V/70V/50V chassis is capable of taking up to four 250W/500W/750W line transformers in any combination and is for use with the other models in the T Series. The T4-250, a 250W/channel quad amplifier, made its debut at PLASA 2002 and completes this exciting range of amplifiers.

All MC2 Audio products carry a full 5-year warranty.
