XTA GQ600 DUAL CHANNEL EQ REMAINS LEADER IN
ITS FIELD
AFTER 10 YEARS OF TOP PERFORMANCES
115th AES CONVENTION, NEW YORK, NY, October 10, 2003
— XTA Electronics, a leader
in sound reinforcement, digital signal processing, and speaker controller
systems for the past 10 years, is showing its GQ600 Dual Channel Equalizer.
As a leading choice of installers and contractors worldwide, the GQ600
meets the needs of high-quality sound systems with a complete and effective
EQ solution.
The GQ600 is a precision dual channel 1/3rd octave graphic
EQ, providing up to a 10dB boost or cut at 30 key frequency points between
25Hz and 25kHz. An optimized filter design is used to provide improved
interpolation and narrow bandwidth performance, while high-quality 45mm
long-throw sliders are used for increased resolution. The low-distortion
circuitry and flat noise response of better than -98dBm ensure near
silent performance and reliability in either install or touring systems.
The GQ600 also features a shelving High Frequency Trim
section allowing for fast adjustments of overall High Frequency response
and a sweepable High-Pass Filter with turnover frequencies at 10Hz and
150Hz. A fixed-frequency Low Pass Filter (18dB/octave) is also included
for increased protection against High Frequency driver overload.
Audio Inputs and Outputs on the GQ600 include both balanced
lockable XLR-type and "quick-wire" Klippon connectors, with
optional transformer balancing available for both inputs and outputs.
Each channel also offers a Gain control and an EQ In/Out switch. For
increased dependability, the unit includes a relay fail-safe bypass
with turn-on delay and peak level indicator LED’s.
As a result of its performance and reliability record
over the past decade, the GQ600 has remained a top choice of audio professionals,
with installations in some of the world's most varied and demanding
rooms. These include the Sound Factory and Live at the Apollo from the
Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY, as well as club Mission in Calle,
Columbia. The XTA GQ600 continues to be a prominent EQ solution in today's
top live sound and install systems.
The GQ600 comes housed in a sturdy, 3U rackspace unit
with an optional Perspex™ security cover offered for added safety.
The GQ600 is available for a list price of $1650.00.
